It’ll be a twin bill for the Avon Park city council tonight, as they first hold their regular meeting, then will go into an executive session. The agenda shows the council first will take care of a lot of municipal utility issues, including a drinking water project, a sewage treatment & disposal remediation plan and a stormwater assessment presentation.
Council members also will look at hiring a legal team to take care of forclosures in the City of Charm and will mull over a number of event requests. Following their regular meeting they will hold an executive session to consider a collective barganing agreement with union firefighters.
This will be the last meeting of the year for the Avon Park council.
